Terms of use

Infirmy is a marketplace operated by Parve Technologies. It introduces patients who need treatment in India to hospitals and medical facilitators there. By using this site you agree to what follows.

Infirmy is not a hospital, a clinic, a doctor, an insurer or a travel agent. Any treatment you receive is provided by the hospital you choose, under a contract between you and that hospital. Infirmy is not a party to it.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Infirmy does not diagnose, does not recommend a treatment, and does not tell anyone what care to seek. Information about treatments and hospitals is there to help you have a better conversation with a doctor, not to replace one. Always consult a qualified medical professional about your own condition, and never delay seeking care because of something you read here.

No hospital or facilitator on this site has completed verification, and none is listed: the hospital catalogue is empty, search returns nothing, and there are no doctor listings. The one screen that still renders demonstration rows is the provider lead inbox before an account is approved, and it is marked as a demonstration on the page. Those rows do not describe real organisations, real people or real availability, and nothing on them should be relied on.

The verification standard we describe — licence, accreditation, a named doctor, a written estimate and a named contact — is a listing rule we have written down, not a service that has been performed. No provider has been through it, because no provider has applied. It is not settled policy yet, we may change it before the first listing goes live, and we say so wherever it appears.

This site publishes no cost range and no price list. A figure cannot reach these pages without a link to the source it was read from, no such source has been found for what an Indian hospital charges an international patient, and so the cost section explains that absence instead of printing a number. If a figure ever does appear here it will be a published figure from a named source shown beside it — never a quote, never an offer, and never confirmed against what a hospital would charge you. What you actually pay depends on your diagnosis, the hospital, the length of your stay and what happens during treatment. Only a written estimate from a named hospital is a real number.

Post only information that is true, and only information you are entitled to share. If you are posting about someone else, you are telling us you have their permission.

We do not accept a case for a patient under 18. The case form asks and checks this before it collects anything else; see the privacy policy's Children section for why.

We give you a reference number when your case is stored. It is how we find your case; keep it. We do not promise that any hospital will respond, or that a response will come within any particular time. Infirmy sends no email at present, which means no automatic confirmation and no automatic reply.

How your case is handled is described in the privacy policy, and that description is part of these terms.

You are responsible for your password and for what is done through your account. There is no password reset link, because Infirmy has no way to send you email; if you lose your password, you lose access to that account. Keep it somewhere safe.

Registering as a provider is a request, not an entitlement. A provider account can see real patient leads only after a person at Infirmy has approved it, and approval can be withdrawn.

Do not use this site to scrape it, to break it, to impersonate someone, to send unsolicited messages, or to collect other people's information. We may close an account that does.

This site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, or that everything on it is complete or free of error — where we know something is unconfirmed or is demonstration data, we say so on the page.

To the extent the law allows, Parve Technologies is not liable for the clinical care, conduct, pricing or outcome of any hospital or facilitator, or for a decision you take on the basis of information on this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you protections that cannot be set aside by agreement, this does not take those away.

We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version. For anything in these terms, write to privacy@infirmy.com.
