The honest answer is that we cannot tell you yet — and this page will not guess. Here is what we went looking for, and how you get a real number.

We looked for figures we could trace to their source, and did not find them. We have not found an Indian hospital that publishes what it charges an international patient, and we will not publish a number we cannot point you at. The rate schedules that are published in India are government ones, set for patients the state subsidises; they are not a quote to you. So this page carries no range — not a low one, not a high one, not a hedged one.
A range with no source costs nothing to read and can cost a great deal to believe. When a named hospital gives us its own figure, it appears here with a link to where it came from.
